Hello golden friends,
I am an entrepreneur, an artist, a clothing designer, and a Proactivist dedicating my waking hours, and often my lucid dreaming, to being a Solutionist to encourage togetherness through golden threads on wrists & woke clothes on our bodies designed to remind that we’re all golden inside.
Thank you for joining our lovestyle movement. Always remember that the golden thread begins within — you.
Curious to dive deeper? Read on to discover threads of our shared purpose…
Goldenly,
Jeff + OGT
Three years ago, I woke to the fact that I was part of the problem, buying and promoting ego clothes, obliviously toxifying my body, our soil, oceans (and spoiler alert: now our atmosphere) with the synthetic clothes I washed and tossed — just like 97% of the rest of the world.
I wish to unfuck our clothes to live compromise-free, reconstituting clothing from polluting to replenishing for self, community and planet. We can have it all. Sustainability-sourced, cozy, stylish for life rather than seasons, own less, love more, and with a message and a model that net-positivity impacts our inner-world, and the world around us.
I now understand nature is not something to awe at, it is something to be. And in that interbeing, as Thich Nhat Hanh popularized, we see nature and us as one, our inner nature is who we are, and begin treat ourselves and our planet with the dignity of equanimity.
I see business as a badass collective force for social good, that a band of citizens, companies, communities and causes can join our anthem campaign to wear the change we wish to see in the world, and just by voting with your wallet to self-love yourself, we each become the impact, not a hope for tomorrow, an impact for today. And every day.
I believe that everybody deserves to look and feel as good as they truly are.
And I see every one as already, and always, golden, inside.
Yet our human condition is a real motherfucker. It forgets.
We design to remind. Badges of honor as philosophy of living. One spoke to my heart when he shared “OGT clothes help me stand more confidently in my skin”. Deeply honored and yes, proud. Another described our clothes as his “Wizard Armour”, another mused “the best fucking second skin to hit my skin ~ ever.”
We design with the end in mind — It is crucial for us all to have the knowledge that 44 million tons of synthetic clothes are washed and tossed every year, clogging our planet, seeping into our Oceans, reconstituted as micro-plastics (38% of the microplastics in Ocean come from our clothing), eaten by fish, thus eaten by us (yes, we all likely have trace micro-plastics in our bodies). Did you know that microplastics have been recently discovered at our highest peaks, not from polluted plastic bottles, rained from above? Yes, scientists have discovered the condensation raising from Earth has entered our atmosphere.
Wear clothes sustainably sourced from Earth, and thus when (if?) ultimately disposed, will return (biodegrade) back to Earth.
Get woke. Wear woke.
We design not for seasons, instead for one simple, functional reason — for life. Timeless classics to live in, sleep in, and rock out the next day in. Uniforms for conscious living.
We are all in an era expressing our individuality while identifying communities and collectives of the like-hearted, markings reflecting we are more united then divided.
One Golden Thread is not a brand for us, it is a brand for all of us. We see our clothing as canvases for co-creation, open to collaborating with communities and causes, bands and brands, for mutual elevation…
It’s a lovestyle. All designed unisexy, clothes to conform to your human form. Tree shirts (made from regenerative trees), Nature Wraps, Kairos Capes, Pillow Faces (the softest case for your face), we celebrate badassadors who rock our wear who are living life golden.
Our clothes won’t make you golden. You already are. We simply design to remind.
With a massive shout out to your self love,
Jeff
words we use to blur the lines. Spiritual
“Sustainability” has been the prevailing buzzword to solution the pollution around fast fashion. Make no mistake. remarkable things happening with recycling of all kinds of materials, and using all natural-sourced materials. Yet if we are being cold-shower honest with ourselves, and wake up to what is really happening, sustainability is at best maintainability. And that isn’t even happening. The Copenhagen Sustainability Conference last month shared in their Pulse Report that sustainable practices actually slowed in the last year by 30% in relation to the spiraling global clothing market that last year produced 44 million tons of synthetic clothing that toxify Earth’s soil and our Oceans not just when we toss, but also when we wash our micro-plastic filled clothes.
We can all go further. Together. One Golden Thread stands for fashion industry regenerative practices as the uplevel to sustainability. What this means is using nature-made materials that are a net positive for people & a net neutral for the planet. And what this means is supporting business models that use portions of its profits as a prophet for the Planet. It’s where we’re at as a society.
We are proud to be on the right side of regenerative fashion. Our stylish cuts are made from the most durable and softest blended materials from nature (Regenerative Beechwood from Lenzing TENCEL) and the “cashmere of cotton” — SUPIMA). Our garments will ultimately biodegrade back to Earth, because they are Earth. Every nature-sourced purchase plants a tree — contributing back to biodiversity, exponentially more than we receive from nature to make your clothes.
We can all call business up to a higher plane of existence by having replenishing as part of their model — it takes a lot less than one may think to adjust business as a positive collective force for social good. All the power resides inside — you. How we choose to vote with our wallets is the way for us to play.

H&M / Zara. How fast fashion can we go? How quickly can it be made by whatever hands necessary. How low can the price go to slave our labor.
